I only survive by borrowing money from friends and family

As a young woman living with depression & anxiety since the age of 16,  austerity led to my work hours being cut and me becoming dependant on my partner financially which led to our split and me having to move to precarious housing with no central heating. Amongst other reasons, this led to a big flare up of my mental health which lasted 3 years. I was suicidal, couldn’t leave the house on a regular basis and had to reduce my hours in work.

I couldn’t access mental health support quick enough via the NHS so I had to pay (subsidised rate) to access counselling leaving me even more short of cash. I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic  Stress Disorder.

I only survive by borrowing money from friends and family and I often cut on food cost and skipping meals so I can afford to socialise with friends. I fear the future but rather not think about it, I may be dead by then.
